This program provides high school students that are interested in Fire Science with an opportunity to intern with the local fire department, and learn the basic skills in fire science and safety. These students could some day serve their local community as volunteer firefighters or a firefighter.
If enough funds are not donated to this program, the Fire Science program could be eliminated.
